In reflecting upon the process and outcome of the Breakthrough Project, I am reminded of an incredibly influential book I read called The Xenofeminist Manifesto. Written by a collective of young feminists who call themselves Laboria Cuboniks, the work argues for “explicit, organized effort to repurpose technologies for progressive gender political ends” (Cuboniks, 2018).
